Traffic safety problems may be national. The people, roads, and communities experiencing them are local.

Micro-campaigns take established traffic safety priorities and translate them into focused, recognizable initiatives designed around a specific behavior, population, roadway, or regional culture.

MCTS provides the structure. Participating agencies bring the local knowledge. Each campaign includes defined participation requirements to support program goals and grant reporting, while giving agencies flexibility to determine when, where, and how campaign activities are deployed.
